"I am rooted but I flow" -Virgina Woolf
As a seasoned licensed clinical social worker, I provide therapy for those who identify as a mother, throughout the multitude of transitions and growth that life provides us. My expertise is in perinatal anxiety, depression and mood disorders, as well as how trauma can impact a person’s parenting path.
I have a specialization in the impacts of addiction on mothering, may it be that one is struggling with addiction themselves, or navigating the addictive behaviors of a partner or adult child.
I am committed to inclusion, trauma awareness and social justice.
I am both process oriented and solution focused, using a collaborative approach that includes DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy).
